Advanced Micro Devices (AMD), Cisco Systems (CSCO), and HUMAIN have launched AI infrastructure using AMD Instinct MI355X GPU-based systems in Saudi Arabia. This deployment, which is live now, allows HUMAIN to offer GPU-as-a-service for AI training and inference workloads, leveraging AMD’s EPYC CPUs and Cisco’s networking solutions.

The companies plan to expand this collaboration by deploying up to 250 megawatts (MW) of additional AI infrastructure starting in 2027, with further growth expectations leading to a total of 1 gigawatt (GW) by 2030. The initiative is driven by increasing demand for sovereign AI capabilities, further enhancing AMD’s market position against competitors like NVIDIA and Broadcom.

In Q2 2026, AMD’s Data Center revenues soared 107% year-over-year to $6.7 billion, fueled by strong interest in EPYC processors and Instinct GPUs. AMD anticipates continued growth, with server revenues expected to rise over 70% in 2027 and total Data Center revenues to more than double year over year.
