Robinhood Markets (NASDAQ:HOOD) aims to expand access to financial asset ownership, according to CEO Vlad Tenev, speaking at a Goldman Sachs event. The company’s strategy includes developing platforms for active trading, offering a comprehensive financial service for younger generations, and building an international financial ecosystem. Key offerings feature equities, options, and the new Robinhood Chain for tokenized U.S. stocks available in over 120 countries, with a trading volume reaching billions daily.
Tenev highlighted Robinhood Earn, which allows users to convert dollars into USDG stablecoin for a 7% annual percentage yield, as part of a broader effort to integrate diverse financial products. The company expects over $100 trillion in wealth to transfer from older to younger generations, introducing initiatives like Trump Accounts for children, which include a $1,000 contribution from the U.S. Treasury. Robinhood plans to announce new active-trader products at an upcoming event in Houston.
