Eaton Corporation (ETN) has announced a $242 million investment to build a new one-million-square-foot manufacturing facility in North Little Rock, Arkansas. This facility will double the U.S. manufacturing capacity for Eaton’s Fibrebond business, which specializes in customized modular electrical enclosures for data centers and utilities. The project is expected to create over 1,200 jobs and comes amid a growing demand for faster electrical systems.

The investment follows Eaton’s $1.43 billion acquisition of Fibrebond in April 2025, aimed at enhancing its power-enclosure capabilities. In the second quarter of 2026, Eaton reported an 18% organic sales increase, with total sales reaching $8.5 billion, driving an upward revision of its growth forecast for the year to 11-13%.

The new facility is positioned to strengthen Eaton’s competitiveness in the critical-power infrastructure market, including areas like AI infrastructure and grid modernization.
