Invesco Solar ETF Shines Bright While U.S. Insurance ETF Struggles
Solar sector surges as Daqo New Energy and Canadian Solar lead the gains.
On Friday, the Invesco Solar ETF has emerged as a star performer among ETFs, gaining approximately 5.3% during the trading session. Notably, Daqo New Energy saw a significant increase, with its shares rising by about 14.4%. Similarly, Canadian Solar’s shares climbed around 12.1% on the same day.
In contrast, the iShares U.S. Insurance ETF has lagged behind, declining by about 2% in the afternoon trading hours. Within this ETF, Principal Financial Group faced a notable drop, falling approximately 10%, while shares of Kinsale Capital Group dipped around 7.8%.
