Tesla, Inc. (TSLA) has received regulatory approval for its Full Self-Driving (Supervised) system in Denmark as of June 9, 2026, marking Denmark as the fourth European country to authorize this technology, following the Netherlands, Lithuania, and Estonia. The rollout to eligible Danish customers is anticipated to begin soon.
Prior concerns from Nordic nations about the system’s safety, particularly in icy conditions, did not prevent Denmark from granting provisional authorization after reviewing Dutch regulatory approvals from April 10, 2026. Notably, vehicles using the FSD Supervised system in the Netherlands reported 3.5 times fewer collisions than those driven manually between April and June 2026, with Tesla logging no highway crashes over 16.6 million kilometers of FSD driving during the same period.
As Tesla continues its expansion, the company has now deployed its FSD Supervised technology in 12 countries worldwide. The initial rollout in Denmark will focus on compatible vehicles, particularly those equipped with Tesla’s newer Hardware 4 platform.
