META’s Advertising Surge: Is It Enough to Outpace RDDT and SNAP?

Meta Platforms, Inc. (META) reported $59.4 billion in advertising revenues for the second quarter of 2026, a 27% increase year-over-year, fueled by a 14% increase in ad impressions and a 12% rise in average ad prices. The company’s success is attributed to its AI-driven advertising tools and a user base of 3.6 billion daily active users across platforms like Facebook and Instagram.

In the same quarter, Reddit, Inc. saw a 64% year-over-year growth in advertising revenues to $762 million, while Snap Inc. reported a 9% increase to $1.28 billion. Meta’s deployment of AI models resulted in an 8.3% increase in ad clicks and a 15.7% uplift in conversions on Facebook, with over 9 million small businesses utilizing Meta’s AI-powered ad tools.

Meta anticipates revenues between $61 billion and $64 billion for the third quarter of 2026. Despite a 16.7% decline in share price year-to-date, the company maintains a forward Price/Sales ratio of 4.87, below the sector average of 6.36, indicating potential value for investors.
