NVIDIA Corporation is set to report its fiscal 2027 second-quarter earnings after the market closes on August 26. Investors are closely watching the results amid concerns regarding a potential slowdown in artificial intelligence (AI) spending, export restrictions on advanced chips to China, and increased competition from Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. (AMD).
For the fiscal second quarter, NVIDIA projects revenues of approximately $91 billion, with a non-GAAP gross margin expected at around 75% . This follows a fiscal first-quarter revenue of $81.6 billion, up 85% year over year. Analysts estimate an earnings per share (EPS) of $2.09, reflecting a 99.1% year-over-year increase, based on the Zacks Consensus.
NVIDIA’s strong demand for AI chips continues to drive its data center business, with record revenues of $75.2 billion in the last quarter. The outlook excludes potential Chinese data center compute revenue, emphasizing management’s confidence in growth despite current trade restrictions.
