Oracle Stock Surge Driven by Partnership with Google
Oracle’s stock (NYSE: ORCL) increased by 27% in the past two weeks, primarily boosted by the expansion of its partnership with Alphabet’s Google (NASDAQ: GOOG) on July 30, 2023. Google will integrate its Gemini AI models into Oracle’s AI Agent Studio, enhancing Oracle’s Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) offerings. OCI reported a revenue surge of 77% to $18.1 billion for fiscal 2026, accounting for 27% of Oracle’s top line, as businesses increasingly adopt AI applications.
Additionally, Microsoft’s earnings report on July 29 revealed that Azure’s annual revenue exceeded $100 billion for the first time, indicating strong growth in the AI sector that is also benefiting Oracle. Analysts project Oracle’s revenue and EPS growth rates at 39% and 30%, respectively, from fiscal 2026 to 2029, despite the stock being down over 40% year-to-date due to rising expenses and concentrated partnerships with high-growth AI firms.
