Soybean prices are declining, with most contracts slipping 2 to 5 ½ cents on Monday. The cmdtyView national average cash bean price stands at $10.58 ¾, down 5 ½ cents, while soymeal futures are down $4.30 to $5.20 in the front months. Soy Oil futures have shifted between 4 to 8 points higher.
The USDA reported a private export sale of 264,000 metric tons of soybeans for the 2026/27 marketing year to unknown destinations. In the week ending June 4, U.S. soybeans export shipments totaled 398,186 metric tons (14.63 million bushels), marking a 21.2% drop from the previous week and a 28.8% decrease compared to the same week last year.
Speculative funds hold a net long position of 156,050 contracts of soybean futures and options, reflecting a reduction of 33,502 contracts over the week.
