A recent report by Elon Musk’s platform X revealed a suspected bot farm consisting of around 200,000 accounts, allegedly orchestrated by Chinese entities to manipulate the discourse surrounding AI and energy policy in the U.S. This follows claims that these bots have amplified fears regarding AI data centers increasing household electricity prices and negatively impacting local communities. Industry expert Louis Navellier emphasized that much of this AI backlash may be orchestrated propaganda aimed at undermining American advancements in AI technology.

Additionally, the Federal Reserve is anticipated to raise interest rates by a quarter-point in its upcoming meeting, with the CME Group’s FedWatch Tool indicating a 92.7% likelihood of this hike. The current 10-year Treasury yield is just above 5%, marking a 19-year high, which has set strong market expectations for the Fed to act. Historical data suggests that while the S&P 500 may experience initial declines post-hike, it typically rallies significantly over the medium to long term.
