Amazon Web Services (AWS) experienced a remarkable 37% revenue growth, bringing in $42.2 billion, its fastest rate in 18 quarters. This strong performance also affirmed that Amazon’s AI business has surpassed a $25 billion annualized revenue run rate, growing at a triple-digit percentage rate.
In comparison, Microsoft (MSFT) reported a 43% increase in Azure revenue, surpassing $100 billion annually, while its overall Cloud segment saw a 27% revenue rise to $59.3 billion. Despite substantial capital expenditures of $44.9 billion for Alphabet (GOOGL) and $31.1 billion for Meta Platforms (META), both companies continue to experience strong revenue growth.
