The iShares Core High Dividend ETF (HDV) experienced unusually high trading volume on Friday, with over 1.2 million shares changing hands, compared to an average of approximately 225,000 shares over the past three months. As of midday trading, shares of HDV were down by 0.3%.
Within the ETF, Qualcomm was the most active component, with more than 11.3 million shares traded and a decline of 1.6%. Exxon Mobil followed closely with over 8.4 million shares traded, down 1.5%. In contrast, Merck saw an increase of 3.2%, while Clorox led the laggards, dropping by 9.2%.
